Outreach activities at QFinLab focus on three main areas:
- Promotion of research activities in the financial industry. The website www.finriskalert.it is conceived as a bridge between the academic community and the financial industry; it provides contributions in the field of quantitative finance from both academics and practitioners. This area also includes seminars and conferences organized by QFinLab in cooperation with the financial industry.
- Financial education. QFinLab promotes financial education activities involving secondary schools as well as society as a whole. All the activities of the edufin@polimi project are hosted on the website www.imparalafinanza.it. The project includes flipped classrooms on financial education, games, summer schools, orientation programs, programs for university students, and pension and insurance education.
- Research projects with industry and financial institutions, including PhD projects.
